Current Project
The Woman at Tallstone House
This new work combines physical theatre and period acting to explore the psychological journey of a woman who arrives at a mysterious house in the New Forest. Jane must unravel the mystery of Tallstone House and the secrets guarded by its magnetic owner, all the while battling her own inner demons.
A contemporary reimagining of Jane Eyre and other gothic classics, with early development through R&D at Mayflower Theatre and Lighthouse Poole and supported by Hampshire Cultural Trust

About
Stacie Bates
Stacie Bates is a Director, Writer, and Physical Theatre Maker. She is the founder of Assembled Moments and DramaCo, specialising in ensemble devising, movement-led storytelling, and atmospheric staging across both adult and youth theatre.
Drawing on extensive training with leading contemporary physical theatre companies, Stacie creates bold, visually striking original work. Whether directing professional theatre productions on contemporary themes or co-devising community and youth projects, her practice explores the intersection between text and performance. Collaboration between actors, dancers, young performers, and technical designers sits at the very heart of everything she does.
